- A6 – Electrical/Electronic Systems (for Advanced Electrical Expert)
- ✅ Take on leadership roles in diagnostics, including advanced troubleshooting, transmission concerns, and in-depth electrical repair.

- ✅ Minimum tenure requirement: 5 years of total experience as a technician, + ASE A1-A8 completion.

- ✅ Master complex electrical, ECU software, and drivability troubleshooting on Toyota’s newest models.

In compliance with California’s double minimum wage law for automotive technicians, Toyota of Berkeley guarantees that technicians who are required to provide their own tools will be paid no less than twice the state minimum wage per hour for all hours worked, including both productive and non-productive time.
This compensation structure includes a base hourly rate, training pay, rest and recovery compensation, production bonuses, variable incentives, and holiday pay, as applicable.
Toyota of Berkeley reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation programs in accordance with state and federal labor laws. Any questions regarding pay structure or eligibility should be directed to the Service Department Manager.
